C51900 Tin Bronze, commonly referred to as Phosphor Bronze, is a high-strength alloy known for its exceptional toughness, corrosion resistance, and excellent cold-working properties. It typically contains about 6% tin, which provides superior spring properties and fatigue resistance compared to lower-tin alloys. 

The addition of Phosphorus acts as a deoxidizer during melting, which increases the fluidity of the metal and improves its wear resistance.

• Copper (Cu): Balance

• Tin (Sn): 5.0% – 7.0%

• Phosphorus (P): 0.03% – 0.35%

• Lead (Pb): 0.05% Max (low lead content makes it highly durable)

Given its "golden yellow" hue and high durability, C51900 round bars are frequently used for:

• Industrial Hardware: High-load bushings, sleeve bearings, and thrust washers.

• Electrical Components: Spring contacts, switch parts, and connectors due to good conductivity.

• Fasteners: High-strength bolts, nuts, and heavy-duty wood screws.

• Marine Engineering: Pump parts and shafts exposed to corrosive water.
